About the course
The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, is home to the second largest collection of art in North America. All SMFA students have free access to the museum, located next door to our main building. During your time here, you?ll engage with the MFA again and again, studying works that have changed the course of art history while working with a respected community of arts professionals, from curators and historians to visiting artists and conservators.SMFA students and alumni exhibit their work in the Museum each year during shows specifically designed to feature the SMFA community. The Museum also offers several student employment positions and internships, which provide a chance for you to gain invaluable experience working alongside leading curators and conservators. Without the constraints of traditional majors or a rigid curriculum, our BFA program provides lots of space to experiment and explore. You choose the coursework, faculty, and facilities that interest you and support your artistic development. How to apply
Entry requirements for Tufts University
High School Transcripts. TOEFL (Internet -based) 100. IELTS- 7. All applicants will be required to send their senior grades as part of their application. Students applying Early Decision I should send first quarter or trimester grades no later than the last week in November. Students applying Early Decision II should plan for their first semester or trimester grades to arrive no later than the third week in January. Finally, Regular Decision applicants should submit their first semester or trimester grades by the middle of February. Students studying abroad (where predicted grades are common) should send those if senior grades are not available.
