About the course

Western?s Artificial Intelligence Systems Engineering (AISE) program is a five year concurrent degree program, that will train today?s engineers in the required modern tools to meet increasing employment demands and maximize opportunities for graduates.

　　Students will be educated in the fundamentals of AI, deep learning, online learning, algorithms, and data structure to solve engineering problems. Through project-based courses and case study methods, they will learn to apply AI to problems and challenges unique to their sectors.

　　Graduates of the program will understand the characteristic behaviour of AI models and will be capable of providing accountability in professional engineering environments. They will develop advanced skills to ensure their models are understood and deployed safely and responsibly, while also being able to evaluate the applicability of their model?s predictions. How to apply

Entry requirements for Western University

A minimum average of B grade in 3 distinct A-Levels or 4 distinct AS-Levels. Your admission is based on your secondary school curriculum They will accept AP courses taken at your high school to calculate your admissions average However they cannot admit you based on your AP exams only.

　　A minimum of a C grade in 5 GCSE IGCSE Ordinary Levels or equivalent in academic subjects.

　　A competitive high school average.

　　A minimum of 4.0 full senior academic courses reported on your academic transcript.

　　A minimum SAT combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing plus Math score of 1190 OR a minimum ACT composite score of 24.

　　The score reports must be official and come to the Admissions Office directly from the College Board ACT.

　　TOEFL IBT - A minimum overall score of 83 - A minimum of 20 in each section.

　　IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 6.5 - A minimum of 6.0 in each section.

　　PTE Academic - A minimum overall score of 58 - A minimum of 56 in each section.
