About the course

Our Humanitarian Engineering will help you develop the crucial skills to plan, implement, and maintain infrastructure in rural Australian areas and developing countries.

The specialisation will explore international aid and development, and provide opportunities to learn from experienced practitioners and industry partners about how to work in disadvantaged communities, fragile states, and communities in disaster recovery.

There are also opportunities to conduct local or overseas fieldwork and apply your knowledge to analyse the challenges faced by Australia's neighbours, such as rapid urbanisation and entrenched poverty.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the design process and operation of aircraft within the Earth's atmosphere and in space. Develop your understanding of flight vehicle design, knowledge of aerodynamics and propulsion systems, structural design, materials, avionics, and stability control systems.

Our Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Aeronautical) is ideal for students interested in using engineering skills to revolutionise the next generation of aircraft by improving flight safety, fuel efficiency, operational systems, and the environmental impact of air travel.

The Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Aeronautical Engineering) is an undergraduate coursework program that will help you develop a comprehensive understanding of the design process and operation of aircraft within the Earth's atmosphere and in space.
