About the course

The Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Flexible First Year) allows you to commence your studies with core subjects before transferring into your engineering stream of choice at the end of your first semester. You will still complete your engineering degree in the normal time (four years).

  If you're unsure what stream to choose and want to explore different engineering disciplines before deciding upon your ultimate course of study, then this program is for you.

  The Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Flexible First Year) is an undergraduate coursework program that will allow you to commence your studies with core subjects before transferring into your engineering stream of choice at the end of your first semester.

Entry requirements for The University of Sydney

Admission this course is on the basis of the following criteria:

  a secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), or approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.

  IELTS score of A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band

  Toefl Pbt - A minimum result of 565 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing

  Toefl ibt - A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
