Various Career and Technology Studies subjects can be taken as a major or minor as part of a Bachelor of Secondary Education. Note that you cannot enrol in both a major and a minor in CTS.

  The available CTS majors/minors are Business, Administration, Finance, Computing Science, Health, Recreation, Human Sciences, Media, Design, Communication Arts, Natural Resources, and Trades, Manufacturing and Transportation.

Entry requirements for University of Alberta

A three- or four-year degree from an accredited postsecondary institution

  An Admission GPA (AGPA) of at least 2.0, or equivalent, based on the most recent graded and transferable ?24. The length of the program will depend on the courses that a student presents at the time of admission. The Secondary After Degree program length will depend on the courses presented at the time of admission.

  TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) When requesting TOEFL scores - iBT: At least 90 with a minimum score of 21 points in each section. IELTS (Academic) (International English Language Testing System) - At least 6.5 with no band less than 5.5.Note: the PBT is no longer accepted.
