About the course

The Marketing area of study focuses on marketing fundamentals, strategy, analysis and quantitative measurement. You will gain an understanding of the marketing function and how that aligns with other organizational functions. Marketing research drives not only promotion (of which advertising is one small component) but also price, placement and product decisions. Any business strategy must begin and end with consumer needs. Consumer research is vital to the success of every aspect of a market offering, including the nature of the product itself. You will undertake projects that involve conducting research and analyzing marketing metrics. The context in which you study includes local, national and international marketing initiatives. Entry requirements for MacEwan University

Admission requirements include the high school subjects or post-secondary equivalents you need to complete and the minimum grades you need to achieve to be considered for admission into this program. Along with academic criteria, you will need to ensure additional admission criteria are met. IELTS–Academic - Minimum overall band score of 6.5 and a minimum score of 5.5 in each band. Internet-Based Test (IBT) - Minimum total score of 86 and a minimum score of 21 in each section.

　　Applicants must have a minimum overall average of 65 percent, with no course grade lower than 50 percent, in the following high school courses:
