SMFA?s Combined Degree program leads to both a Bachelor of Fine Arts and either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree?a combination that yields academic and creative skill sets that will serve you well no matter where your journey takes you.Graduates of the Combined Degree program receive two degrees within five years. In addition to your BFA, you'll graduate with a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a major of your choice.Tufts provides its students with the resources of a major research university and the breadth of academic options afforded by our School of Arts and Sciences.As a combined-degree student, you?ll spend your first year exploring both the fine arts and liberal arts and sciences curriculum. You?ll make the most of both campuses, expand your social and intellectual horizons, and start to imagine where you?d like to go with your combined degree.

　　Within SMFA?s drawing curriculum you?ll find courses and resources designed to cultivate your technical skills as well as classes designed to challenge your conceptual practice. The curriculum encourages visual investigation through the practice of drawing and exposes you to courses representing a range of methods, sources, and dialogues. Courses emphasize the translation and observation of relationships within the figure and objects in three-dimensional space. Advanced courses will engage you in the integration of new mediums, development of narrative, and the creation of ideas for self-directed projects. Critique is used as a platform for interaction, and you will present work for both formal and interpretive analysis at several stages of production. Entry requirements for Tufts University

High School Transcripts.

　　IELTS- 7.

　　All applicants will be required to send their senior grades as part of their application. Students applying Early Decision I should send first quarter or trimester grades no later than the last week in November. Students applying Early Decision II should plan for their first semester or trimester grades to arrive no later than the third week in January. Finally, Regular Decision applicants should submit their first semester or trimester grades by the middle of February. Students studying outside the United States (where predicted grades are common) should send those if senior grades are not available.

　　Art Portfolio: Required only for students applying to the BFA or Combined Degree BFA + BA/BS programs at the SMFA at Tufts.
