About the course

The study of theatre is a study of the human condition, and requires a broad set of skills, techniques, and knowledge bases from its practitioners and students. Theatre majors study plays and other dramatic works and their production. Classes cover topics such as theatre history, literature, theory and social contexts of theatrical production, playwriting, acting, and directing, as well as lighting, scenery, and costume design. How to apply

Entry requirements for Cleveland State University - Shorelight

All secondary school records, including certificates. All school records should be submitted in the original language and should be accompanied by a certified English translation. Cumulative secondary school GPA equivalent to a 2.3 on the US grading scale for most programs. Students who have attended a US high school or secondary school in another country that follows the US high school curriculum must submit ACT or SAT scores. These students must submit a minimum total ACT score of 16, or a minimum old total SAT score of 770 (before March 1, 2016), or a minimum new total SAT score of 880 (after March 1, 2016). TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based): 78 and at least 17 in each section. TOEFL PBT (Paper-Based): 550. IELTS: 6.0 and at least 5.0 in each section.
