Students can pursue either a BS or BA in Physics. The Bachelor of Science in Physics prepares students for graduate studies or careers in technology, medicine, education, law, finance, industry, and other professions. The Bachelor of Arts in Physics provides a traditional liberal arts education with a solid set of core courses in physics. Students applying from secondary schools outside of the U.S. are not required to submit standardized test scores for admission to Baylor, however some majors will require the submission of the SAT or ACT for admission into their specific academic program. Students who opt to not submit standardized test scores will not be eligible for merit-based scholarships, and they may be selected for additional review.
