Bachelor of Arts in Music - Music Technology and Recording

About the course

This concentration is built on the foundation that recording engineers with strong musical skills are more effective than those whose knowledge is purely technical. Within the music major, you'll be well-trained in all of the traditional areas of music: theory, history, performance, and critical-listening skills. You'll be given generous access to the recording facilities and ample opportunity for hands-on experience to practice what you have learned. Whether you like making music or listening to it, you can choose your area of concentration and earn a degree that lets you pursue your passion as a career. Because life is a song, and the world needs you to play it.

Students in the Department of Music are equipped to begin careers in a host of areas, depending on their individual goals. Our music alumni pursue rewarding careers performing, teaching, managing, and organizing music events. Because of UIndy's small student-faculty ratio, students are able to direct their education towards the career they want to pursue. Scholarships - View all scholarships Internships
