About the course

The Department of Music houses a Bachelor of Arts degree where students can choose to concentrate in four areas of study, Composition, Jazz Studies, Music Studies and Performance.

　　The Department is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. The Bachelor of Arts Degree is a four-year/120 credit hour degree designed to prepare students for entry in to the fields of music performance, business, engineering, and as a foundation for future graduate study. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of New Orleans

Official high school transcripts must be sent directly from the school. The transcripts must be in the original language, accompanied by an official English translation.
