About the course
School of Media Arts and Design offers a program of study that prepares students for careers that rely on mass media. Program areas of concentration allow students to pursue interests in journalism (print, broadcast, and online), television and video production, corporate communications or converged media (print, video & web production). The major also prepares students for advanced graduate school study in the fields of mass communication and related areas such as journalism, corporate communication, visual communication or digital production. Entry requirements for James Madison University - International Study Center (StudyGroup)
Competitive applicants will have excellent class rank and an academic background that shows a strong program of study. Proof of English language proficiency in ONE of the following ways: IBT (Internet Based TOEFL): 80
TOEFL, PBT (Paper Based TOEFL): 550. SAT score of 500 on the Evidenced Based Reading and Writing Portion of SAT exam. IELTS score of 6.5. Official transcripts (complete and original copy, in English). One letter of recommendation.
