About the course

The BA major in Liberal Arts was designed for students who wish to pursue studies in several areas rather than concentrate in one discipline. It offers more options than the traditional major for students with diverse interests. The student chooses three areas of concentration from the departments and programs in the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. How to apply

Entry requirements for Hofstra University - INTO USA

Admitted students intending to enroll at the university must submit their final high school transcript or proof of degree (copy of high school diploma) to the Office of Admission. Students are not permitted to begin classes at Hofstra until proof of their high school degree is received.

　　Your application should include your secondary school record, a personal statement or essay and a TOEFL or IELTS score report (if English is not your first language) or SAT or ACT exam score (see below.)

　　an internet-based-TOEFL (IBT) score of 80 or higher , paper-based TOEFL score of 550 or higher or computerized TOEFL score of 213 or higher.
