About the course

Art history is an integral part of the Art program. In general terms, the art history curriculum provides a strong outreach to the wider WSU student body because many of the art history courses fulfill WSU humanities and intercultural general education requirements (GERs). Any WSU student may complete an 18 credit art history minor. Within the studio program, studio Art majors receive a solid background in the history of art, art criticism, and contemporary theory. How to apply

Entry requirements for Washington State University

To be considered for admission to Washington State University as a freshman, a student needs to complete at least 12 years of school, culminating in an appropriate secondary certificate or external examination. (We may consider the first year or two of university in some countries to be secondary level.)

　　Schooling should include preparation in humanities, mathematics, basic sciences, and social sciences.

　　WSU requires a minimum grade point average of 2.70 (on a 4.00 scale) for admission as an international freshman.
