About the course

Environmental Studies combines natural and social sciences to better understand the human relationship with the natural environment. Students and researchers focus on issues of sustainability in the management of land and water, the formulation of environmental policy and how environmental management decisions can be improved to ensure a healthy future for humans and nature.

　　Study in a program that?s current, dynamic and continuously seeking new ways to enhance our understanding of the natural world and our place in it. Our professors are actively employed in monitoring threatened plant and animal species, are engaging citizens in environmental science and are working with communities and Indigenous groups to devise better ways of managing land and regional planning, environment and natural resource policy, nature conservation.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Wilfrid Laurier University

Applicants who are completing the IB Diploma will be considered for admission upon presenting passes with an acceptable standing in a minimum of six subjects, three of which must be at the higher level. The minimum total score requirement is 26. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Internet-based testing (TOEFL iBT): an overall score of 83 or higher with a minimum score of 20 in each component. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) An academic score of 6.5 or higher with a minimum of 6.0 in each band.
