About the course
The undergraduate program in Exceptional Student Education prepares teachers with competencies necessary to produce achievement gains and desirable behavior changes in students with disabilities. Successful completion of the courses of study will result in certification in Exceptional Student Education and ESOL endorsement. The program is sequential in nature, with some courses offered only once a year, therefore, students are requested and encouraged to enter in the fall term. Entry requirements for University of North Florida
Admissions decisions at UNF are rendered based on academic merit. The state of Florida has implemented minimum admission standards for freshman applicants to all Florida public state universities. In order to be considered, students must have a minimum 2.5 recalculated GPA on a 4.0 scale and meet minimum test score requirements.
Regardless of when they graduated from high school, students applying as first-time-in-college (FTIC) applicants are required to submit either SAT, ACT and/or CLT test scores. UNF does not require the essay section of the SAT or ACT.
A minimum TOEFL score of 79 internet-based (550 paper-based or 213 computer-based)
A band score of 6.5 on the University of Cambridge IELTS
