About the course

The College of Arts and Science (CAS) and the Graduate School of Arts and Science (GSAS) offer students in many departments ? including the Economics Department ? the opportunity to earn both the bachelor's degree and the master's degree in a shorter period of time and at less cost than is normally the case. It even allows for the possibility that the department of the master's degree is different from that of the bachelor's degree.

　　Qualifying students are typically accepted into a program toward the end of the sophomore year or the beginning of the junior year. In their remaining undergraduate semesters, they can then accelerate by taking some graduate courses during regular terms. (There is no summer program in economics). In the graduate portion of the program, they can qualify for a scholarship covering up to 50 percent of the tuition for the master's degree. Entry requirements for New York University

If you will have completed your country’s pre-university education (equivalent to U.S. 12th Grade).You are completing an internationally-recognized equivalent, such as the IB Diploma, or You are applying from countries with school leaving qualifications based on the British educational model, and will have completed the A-level equivalent (neither O-levels nor (I)GCSE results will be sufficient for admission), or You are currently enrolled in a foundation year program outside of the United States, or Your highest degree earned by the time you plan to enroll at NYU is either a certificate or diploma.100 and above on the TOEFL iBT.7.5 and above on the IELTS Academic.
