The aim of the major in Economic Studies is to develop the knowledge and skills of students to enable them to embark upon a professional career in areas such as economics, financial markets, government policy, investment banking, consulting and business administration.
Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate an understanding of the roles played by consumers, producers and government institutions as the major components of a modern economy.
Demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles and theory used in designing economic solutions to real world problems.
