About the course

The Sports Communication program studies sports as a communication context. The topics covered by the course include the impact of sports on culture, media coverage of sports, coach-athlete communication, family communication, and fan behavior. The goal of the program is to provide students with an educational background to work in a support role in an athletic organization, most frequently in either sports administration or sports information. Entry requirements for University of Alabama Birmingham - INTO USA

Official transcripts sent directly, by your, to UAB via Naviance eDocs, Docufied by Parchment, postal mail or express courier. All documents must be sent in English. IELTS 6.0 overall with at least a 5.5 on each section of the examination. TOEFL IBT - 77. Satisfactory completion of a secondary/high school diploma with an overall GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
