The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at San Diego State University is proud to have offered the Bachelor of Science degree, accredited by the American Chemical Society (ACS), to our most qualified undergraduates continuously since 1949. This rigorous program is held to the highest standards by the ACS to ensure its depth, breadth, and currency. Entry requirements for San Diego State University

Completion of high school/secondary level. A certified copy of graduation certificate or diploma will be required prior to enrollment at SDSU.A minimum U.S. equivalent GPA (grade point average) of 3.0 (B grade or 80 percent) or higher.Higher Level International Baccalaureate (IB) exam: Score of 4 to 7.ACT English section: Score of 22 or higher.SAT Evidence Based Reading and Writing score of 550.
