About the course

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry has 24 full-time faculty members and is in the process of expanding. There are approximately 90 graduate students and 5 postdoctoral fellows conducting cutting-edge research in the areas of biological chemistry, synthesis methodology, molecular recognition and detection, new material synthesis and characterization, computational chemistry, renewable energy, as well as in the traditional areas of analytical, biological, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry. How to apply

Entry requirements for Auburn University - Shorelight

The ACT or the SAT is required of all freshman international applicants, as well as freshman transfer applicants with less than 30 semester credit hours. Arrangements should be made for the test results to be sent directly to the Office of Admission by the testing agency. TOEFL : 79 for the internet based test OR 213 on the new computerized test OR 550 on the written paper-based test. A band score of 6.5 or better on the IELTS is also acceptable. Graduate from a U.S. high school. All international freshman students currently attending a secondary school (high school) outside the U.S. must submit two (2) types of their official transcripts or official records. An official secondary school (high school) transcript translated into English by an official translation agency. The second copy will need to be sent to an independent credential evaluator. You will need to request a document-by-document evaluation (with a GPA) from one of the evaluators and make sure that a copy be sent to the Office of Admissions.
