About the course
The Bachelor of Arts degree in American Sign Language presents American sign language as a culture- and community-based language that interacts with other world languages. Through techniques — including immersion and bilingual-bicultural comparison classes, community interaction, research, lab activities and use of digital video technology — students gain documented proficiency in American sign language, validity within the deaf community and networking within the professional community. How to apply
Entry requirements for Kent State University
New freshmen applicants must finish secondary school in their home country by the time of enrollment to be eligible for university (comparable to the completion of senior high school in the U.S.).
Secondary School Transcripts/detailed mark sheets (Certified English translation and original language)
Freshmen should meet the minimum requirement of GPA ≥ 2.5 on a U.S. 4.0 scale.
