About the course

Our BA Honours Fashion Design degree will equip you with technical skill, support your creativity, and encourage you to develop your identity as a designer. You will cover a vast array of topics such as fashion illustration, portfolio presentation, technical drawings, garment construction and pattern cutting, corsetry, and tailoring.

　　During this programme you will not only learn the knowledge and practical skills essential for a successful career in fashion design, but also develop self-confidence, a willingness to challenge yourself, the ability to work with others, and the skills to discover and define your own design identity. You will focus on individuality and be encouraged to question everything, and learn within a multifaceted environment in which to research, challenge, design and create. How to apply

Entry requirements for Middlesex University - Dubai Campus

The following documents must accompany an Application for Admission.

　　Two (2) recent passport size photographs.

　　Copy of your passport and UAE residency visa, if Available.

　　Applicants should submit copies of secondary school records including a certificate of completion and a statement of grades/marks.

　　For advanced entry applicants/transfer students: if you are seeking credits for previous study completed at university /post-secondary level, please provide documents (e.g. official transcripts certificates, etc.) showing the subjects completed and marks /grades achieved along with detailed information on the content of courses and an explanation of the grading system .

　　Two (2) academic references on an official letterhead of school /college.

　　A personal statement (200 words or more)

　　Evidence of satisfying the English Language requirements, where applicable.

　　IELTS - 6.0 with at-least 5.5 in each component. TOEFL (IBT) - 72 (with at least 17 in listening & writing, 20 in speaking and 18 in reading).

　　Successful completion of the Middlesex University International Foundation Programme (IFP)*** (equivalent programmes from other Universities/Colleges/Institutes will be considered).You must have passed the full IB Diploma. In some cases applicants will also need to have studied certain subjects at Standard or Higher Level.
