You can study Taxation as a single major or as a double major alongside one of the other majors offered within the BCom (such as Accounting or Finance). You can also study towards the Bachelor of Commerce in Taxation as part of a conjoint degree programme in which you study for two degrees at once. Areas of study include: Finance and property law, Company law, Commercial contracts, Employment law, Financial statement analysis, Public economics, Modern investment theory and management, Taxation is also offered as an elective course in the Bachelor of Laws degree, designed for graduates who wish to become lawyers specialising in taxation.
