About the course
This degree increases your employment prospects by enabling you to gain expertise in two different areas of interest.Depending on your chosen specialisation, you may get the opportunity to gain practical experience when you contribute to the University’s annual short stories and poetry publication, Piping Shrike, online publication, On the Record, or our student journal, The Globalist. We also offer outstanding on-campus learning facilities, including a Multimedia Languages Lab where you can connect in real-time with native speakers from around the world.In addition, you may be able to study a portion of your degree overseas as part of the University’s Hawke Ambassador Volunteer Experience Program. As part of this program you will volunteer with an international non-government organisation (NGO), usually in an overseas destination.

Entry requirements for University of South Australia
Recent secondary education : Meet any prerequisite requirements with a minimum grade of C- or equivalent AND Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), and achieved a competitive Selection Rank (ATAR), or Complete secondary qualifications equivalent to SACE, or Complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 24 points.
Higher education study : Complete or partly complete a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or Complete at least four Open Universities Australia (OUA) courses at undergraduate level or above.
Vocational Education and Training (VET): Complete an award from a registered training organisation at Certificate IV or above.
IELTS total [6.0], IELTS reading [6.0], IELTS writing [6.0]. TOEFL PBT - 550 with TWE of 4.5.TOEFL IBT - 60 with Reading and Writing not less than 18.
