About the course

Majoring in Landscape Architecture will give you the skills to create better design solutions for spaces. You’ll address contemporary challenges related to climate change, urbanisation, and sustainability. You’ll bring together art, culture, nature, and science to create engaging and functional spaces. This major will show you how to understand scale, think spatially, and use the latest design software to plan spaces. You’ll graduate with the tools and knowledge to shape our environment with beauty and function.

　　The Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) is a three-year undergraduate degree that gives you the knowledge and practical skills you need to start your journey towards a career in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, or interior architecture.

　　Study alongside Building Science students in the first year, giving you a basic understanding of the principles and theory behind the built environment.

　　Gain a solid grounding in a range of subjects from design, technology, and architectural history to environmental science, theory, and urban design.

Entry requirements for Victoria University of Wellington

University Entrance through IB consists of the full IB diploma (24 points minimum). The GES from IB is 28 points for all undergraduate degrees
