About the course

Our Bachelor of Applied Science in environmental management is unique to Lakeland College. If you already have an environmental credential, take our upskilling career-focused pathway.

　　If you have a diploma, you?ll elevate your knowledge and skills. If you have a degree, you?ll gain work-force ready field skills.

　　An 8-month practicum with an employer follows. A practicum coordinator helps you find a practicum host. Most run May through December. Most are paid.

　　After your practicum, you complete the program with a capstone presentation in late winter. Capstone audiences include instructors, classmates, peers and industry.

　　As a graduate you?ll have more than the applied degree, you?ll also have industry experience on your resum?.

　　Environmental management career opportunities in industry and government currently far exceed the annual number of graduates from the program.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Lakeland College

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) - a minimum score of 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 on each band score. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)- Minimum of 85 on the iBT exam and a minimum score of 21 in each of the four tested areas. Copies of high school and other transcripts are required. Minimum 2.3 GPA (Grade Point Average). Direct entry- If you graduated from one of the following two-year diploma programs and took college-level: Inorganic & organic chemistry.
