About the course

Gain sought-after skills with practical accounting expertise and CPA accreditation, by studying the Bachelor of Accounting at Victoria University. You'll graduate career-ready, with both technical and professional competencies. The courses also teaches highly-valued generic skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork/collaboration and effective communication.

　　In your accounting degree, you'll have the flexibility to build on the core skills developed in your first year by choosing a major in your second year. This will also prepare you for a career in areas such as:

　　business analytics

　　risk management

　　finance and data

　　information systems management.

　　In the final year, you will complete two business capstone units, which gives you the opportunity to take part in a multidisciplinary group project or a research challenge competition. You may also complete two minors to expand your knowledge and enhance your employability. There are extensive opportunities to engage in workplace-based projects and authentic case-based scenarios.
