About the course

As the accounting and financial reporting world becomes more global, this course BAcc (Honours) course prepares students for a career as an international accountant or for a wide variety of other careers in different countries that benefit from a business education. It also develops a critical awareness of the concepts underpinning accounting and finance practices, as well as the role played by accounting and finance in society.

　　You will learn about the international reporting practices adopted by companies listed on the UK stock exchange as well as quoted companies from further afield.

Entry requirements for University of Dundee

SQA Higher/Advanced Higher - BBBC (minimum) - ABBB (typical) at Higher. English and mathematics (Standard Grade at 2 or National 5/Intermediate2 at C) is recommended.

　　International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma - 30 points including 5, 5, 5 at Higher Level, plus Standard Level English and mathematics at grade 5.

　　A combination of IB Certificate plus other qualifications, such as A-Levels, Advanced Placement Tests or the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP), will also be considered.

　　IELTS - 6.0 overall, including at least 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in the other three components.

　　TOEFL IBT - 78 overall, including at least 19 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 18 in Speaking, 23 in Writing
