Subject Requirements - GCSE Grade C or above in English (Grade 4 or above in the new grading system) Students applying for the BA Youth and Community Development Course must have some practice experience working with young people and/or adults in the wider community through a variety of settings. This can be through paid or voluntary experiences. Offers will be subject to a Health Check Statement and an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formally the Criminal Records Bureau – CRB). Unfortunately, due to requirements of the placement providers we are unable to consider any applicants with convictions within 5 years of the start of the course. Additionally, all applicants will be required to undertake an interview.
IELTS - 6.0 overall (with reading and writing at 6.0) and no individual score lower than 5.5.
