About the course
You need a diverse skill set to work as a hair and make-up artist in fast-moving sectors such as media, broadcast, film, theatre and fashion. This course gives you the creative breadth and depth to work across a wide range of industries or specialise in a particular area. You develop your creativity, skills and techniques in areas such as fashion, prosthetics, medical simulation, character design, and period hair and make-up. The course covers make-up and hStudent in make-upair for all ethnicities as well as the latest techniques for film and TV including 4K films. You learn with an industry-experienced team who teach at the leading edge of current product and technique developments. Work experience and realistic tasks are part of the course so you gain the necessary skills to work on set, on location or in the studio. In addition, you collaborate with students from other courses - such as acting, photography, and film and TV production - to produce cross-course events, contribute to films, stage and photography projects, and support each other in portfolio creation and development.
