Alongside the development of core business skills, this course gives you a sound understanding of the principles and practices of the global tourism industry as well as teaching you to apply theory to contemporary issues. You gain an integrated understanding of how the complex business of tourism operates across the world, placing it within an ethical framework and examining it from different perspectives: global political, economic, social, technological, legal, ecological, and business.
With this degree, you should have already studied business administration or international tourism management at an appropriate level or have substantial, relevant work experience in the field. You will be ready to extend your existing knowledge, skills and capabilities to respond proactively and creatively to contemporary issues in international tourism.
