The Academic English Program at Edith Cowan College is designed for students who plan to study a degree at Edith Cowan University. Students can improve their academic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills during this Program. The length of your Academic English Program is subject to admissions? assessment, based on your English level and the course you are going to study. Course content - Essay writing and reading skills, Academic English language, Academic discussion and presentation skills. Full-time ECC English courses provide 20-22 hours of English study per week in a classroom setting. Active learning is encouraged through a wide range of teaching methods, which are combined with modern materials and resources. A variety of assessment methods are used to monitor progress.
