Located in the city of Belleville on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario, Loyalist College is one of Canada's most dynamic and diverse public-funded post-secondary education centres, providing a comprehensive range of career oriented, English-language programs and a superb learning experience.

　　Established in 1967, the college is an applied arts and technology institution with an educational heritage of over fifty years. It fosters students a very high standard of teaching, supported by excellent academic and recreational facilities and an impressive range of student support services. Loyalist College offers a variety of accredited post-secondary courses at different levels of study and is home to around 3,000 full-time students annually.

　　The college recently received confirmation of a CAD 2.8 million government grant, awarded over three years, which is part of a CAD 600 million programme aimed at enhancing post-secondary schools' facilities.

　　The college will invest this funding into a number of programs at the school including a full renovation of the culinary wing, and brand new food-technology labs furnished with the latest equipment. There are also plans for a new integrated health and wellness facility, which will provide a range of spaces for massage therapy and esthetics programs. Funding will also be distributed to healthcare programs, ensuring equipment and technology is up to date and fulfils the most rigorous professional standards.

Entry requirements

Loyalist College is located on a 200-acre fully modernised campus, which acts as a self-contained learning environment, providing everything its students need for academic success and personal enrichment. In addition to modern teaching rooms with the latest learning technologies, individual and group study paces and free, fast WiFi throughout, the campus library offers a huge range of resources and services as well as hundreds of thousands of books, journals and digital resources which can be accessed remotely.

There are both townhouse and apartment-style options with full time professional staff, 24/7 security and access to a host of social events, all located within easy walking distance of campus.
