Materials science combines various disciplines to create new materials. As a chemistry student, you?ll learn about the structure and composition of materials, as well as the processes to synthesize and use them.This ACS-certified chemistry degree focuses on the structure and dynamics of modern materials, ranging from enhanced steel to composites used in the space program to biodegradable plastics. The program prepares you for success in the material science workforce or graduate school.PNW is the only university in Northwest Indiana to specialize in the chemistry of materials. Entry requirements for Purdue University Northwest

An Official High School Transcript or GED Scores (if applicable)

　　Original or attested copies of academic documents from all secondary schools attended should be mailed in a sealed envelope from the secondary school or the examination board. The record must be an official copy bearing an original stamp or seal. If the original is not in English, include a certified, detailed translation.
